Ellen Velickovska
Co-Founder & CEO
Ellen moved from telecoms into AI, having earlier led a company through growth to a successful acquisition. She has completed MIT’s AI Design and Strategy programme and co-founded SpendRails to give every AI API call a budget and an owner.
Shanks Kulam
Co-Founder & CSO
Shanks brings more than 20 years in telecoms as a virtual number veteran and digital MVNO pioneer. Having seen infrastructure spend outpace the controls built to manage it, he sees the same risk in AI. Based in London, he has worked on projects across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the US.
Mario Gonzalez
Co-Founder & CTO
Mario has more than 20 years of software engineering experience across banking, fintech, healthcare, government and AI, including three and a half years in the US and a year in Belgium leading teams across time zones. Based in Barcelona, he focuses on making SpendRails a control layer engineering teams want to run.
Pete Farmer
Co-Founder & CLO
Pete brings 25 years of experience across financial compliance at a Fortune 300 company and telecoms regulation at one of the UK’s largest networks, alongside a track record in entrepreneurship. Working from Calgary, Canada, he helps SpendRails meet the data protection and security needs of start-ups and enterprises alike.
Tariq Siddique
Co-Founder & CCO
Tariq has spent nearly 20 years building and scaling telecoms and digital platform businesses across the Middle East and international markets. He launched Virgin Connect Roam, a travel eSIM live in more than 190 countries, and led one of his group’s earliest multilingual AI customer support deployments. From Dubai, he leads customer engagement, partnerships and go-to-market.
